There were many things in the article that made it well written and informative. For example, the author of the review gave a lot of statistics to why fluvoxamine is useful for treating Covid 19. Examples of the statistics are 12 out of the 756 patients who received a placebo died. But with the fluvoxamine, only one of the 741 patients died. Also, a five day course of molnupiravir is 700 dollars, but a 10 day course of fluvoxamine only costs 10 dollars. Also, she gave information from reliable sources such as McMaster University in Canada and Card research in Brazil. This review was interesting to me because the topic she was researching is very relevant and important to society today.
Even though there are many things that made this article good there are still a few things that the author could have worked on. In this review, she didn’t give enough background information on how this medicine was proved useful in combating Covid 19 symptoms.
Also, I needed more information on how they discovered that an antidepressant drug could help the Covid 19 symptoms.
Overall, this review is good because the topic is important and very relevant to us and it shows that there are more than one way to try and stop this pandemic.

I read Zach Loader's review of the article “The antidepressant fluvoxamine can keep COVID-19 patients out of the hospital”. The first successful aspect of the topic was the article selected. This article is very important to our current society and because of this the review held more meaning. Additionally Zach used quotes from the article to further the readers understanding of the topic. For example Zach uses a statistic to help the reader better understand the topic “12 out of the 756 patients who received a placebo died. But with the fluvoxamine, only one of the 741 patients died.” The third successful aspect of the article was its length. While some might argue that ist shortness is a negative, I think it is a negative because it accomplishes the task without dragging on. While this was a well written article there were some aspects that could’ve been improved.
While the quotes in the review furthered the reading understanding greatly, some of the quotes could’ve used more elaboration. They simply felt unfinished. The second aspect that could’ve been improved was its length. While the conciseness was a positive I would also consider it a negative, because the article was so short, it left some thought unfinished. Some ideas couldn’t be further explored because it was so short. Even with these negatives the article was still insightful and interesting.
This article was very relevant due to our current situation with the coronavirus pandemic. The review gave insightful information about possible ways to lessen the effects of covid. The title stuck out to me and I chose it because of its relevance to our current global situation. This article has taught me to become more aware of the important current events and news that is happening around the country and world.
