Drift Through a Wormhole with New Virtual Reality Tech
Have you ever wanted to feel what it would be like to float in space? Well, now there is new technology that allows someone to use a headset and mechanical chair that simulates space movement. On the chair, it will lift you up and after you enter “space” hydraulics in the chair will enable you to feel like you are floating through a wormhole. Also, you wear a virtual reality headset which covers your eyes and you can look around to see into space.
This device and mechanism seems like it would be very interesting and I would be curious to try. This could be used to train astronauts and help them prepare to what it feels like to be in space. Although this is supposed to mimic what space is like, but I doubt that this accurately presents what zero gravity is really like.
This article was very interesting to read and it makes me curious to find out more information on it. Although, the article was short and did not have as much information as I hoped. There was not very much scientific evidence on what the machine focused on.

I really like this review of the article "Drift Through a Wormhole with New Virtual Reality Tech," reviewed by Zachary Zucker. The review allowed us to understand something very interesting and informed us on an up and coming new device to simulate space travel on the safety of earth. I really like the way he opened his article with a gripping questions that made us want to read more. He also did a very good job articulating his views on the article as well as informing us about the facts of the new device. His vocabulary also made the review much more interesting and it seems like he put time into this review of this interesting article. One thing I think he needs to improve upon is lengthening his review because it allows us to have a better overview of the article without reading it. Another thing that needs work is his opinion. I think opinions allows us to form our own and could be improved upon in this review. I found it very interesting that this was just being developed recently, for something that seems so simple I thought it would have been developed long ago. Overall, I think Zach did an outstanding job reviewing this riveting article.

ReplyDeleteThis review of the article Drift Through a Wormhole with New Virtual-Reality Tech by Zach was very interesting. I liked how he started off with a question, and then how he described it afterwards like it was a sales pitch. It made this new space technology sound really futuristic and cool. I also liked how he talked about how this new technology could be used to train astronauts. I know his article was really short, but I think Zach could have given a little more detail. I found it interesting that the scientists were just creating this machine now. I thought there already was a machine that could make you feel like you were in space. Its still a really cool discovery, though, and overall, this review by Zach was really good.

ReplyDeleteZachary did a great job with his current event review. His review allowed us to understand something very interesting and informed us on new technology today. I really liked how he opened his article with a gripping questions that made us want to read more. He also did a very good job giving detail, on how the device is used. I also liked how he talked about how this new technology could be used to train astronauts. Some of the things I think he could have improved his article by improving the length by articulating it more and adding more specific details in his review. Overall I think Zachary did a great job on his current event review and informed us on some new technology.
Zach’s current event about of Drift Through a Wormhole with New Virtual-Reality Tech was great. i personally liked how he stated a question and then described it. I am now very interested in this topic. I liked how he brought in the aspect of training astronauts as well. I not sure of he could do this but i would have liked some more details. I thought there were ways to make it feel like you were is Space already but did not know of a machine that could do that. Zachary’s review on this now discovery was great despite its size.
ReplyDeleteI think this review on the article Drift Through a wormhole with new Virtual Tech by Zack Zuckerman was well written. Zack did a great job of summarising his article, his summary provided a great background of information. Something he could of done in order to make it better is if he were to add some quotes or even some thoughts that the scientists who were working on this chair thought. Another thing that was good was his ability to use points from the summary and talk about how if they were good or bad, by stating his opinion about them. lastly I loved his catchy first sentence, it caught my attention as I was scrolling down the list of reviews to comment on. Something that I learned from this article that i found interesting is the fact that there were glasses/ headset that you have to wear to help simulate. I am very intrigued by this topic and am interested to hopefully learn more about it in the near future.
